Some weddings just feel effortless — and not because they’re small or simple, but because the people, the vibe and the details come together in the most seamless way. That was Coya & Paulo’s wedding through and through...

THE BOOKING:

Coya and I had been going back and forth via email for a couple of weeks. She was so sweet in her messages and even though her final confirmation came the evening before the wedding (which I normally wouldn’t allow), I had a completely free day — and something about her just felt right. So I said yes… and I’m so glad I did.

THE JOURNEY:

Based in Northamptonshire, it took me around an hour and a half to get to The Fennes, a stunning venue in Essex that I had been wanting to shoot at for ages. I arrived at 10:30am and met with Coya, who was already in full bridal glow. The getting-ready vibes were immaculate — girlies chatting, champagne flowing, and the energy was so calm yet excited.

THE SUPPLIER DREAM TEAM:

On the day, I had the pleasure of meeting other creatives who made the space feel collaborative, not crowded. Amina (Amina Humphreys Wedding Photography) and Molly (Molly Lovely Photography) and Sarah (Steph Friend | Essex Wedding Photographer & Videographer) were all amazing to work with — we communicated seamlessly to ensure we all got the shots we needed without stepping on each other’s toes.

THE CONTENT FLOW:

Once I’d captured some stunning venue and decor shots, I headed off to film Paulo and his groomsmen. Everyone was in great spirits and honestly, the whole timeline ran so smoothly. I filmed their full ceremony, soaking up the beauty of The Fennes — especially their signature bridge, which was one of the reasons Coya and Paulo chose the venue in the first place.

The weather held off all morning… and just after the ceremony, the sun came out perfectly in time for group shots. The light was golden, the guests looked incredible (truly, everyone understood the assignment) and the entire atmosphere felt like something out of a wedding Pinterest board.

THE COVERAGE:

Coya had booked my Core Package, which included:

  • Getting ready content (starting 2 hours before the ceremony)

  • Ceremony coverage

  • Brief after-ceremony clips including guests, group shots and decor details

I wrapped up around 3:45pm and headed back feeling so creatively fulfilled.

THE DELIVERY:

Coya received 5 custom montages, including a main day overview — which she absolutely loved. Everything was turned around and delivered within 6 days of the wedding.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Some days just remind me why I do this — not just to capture beautiful moments, but to be part of a couple’s story in the most natural and creative way. Coya & Paulo’s day was one of those and I’m so grateful to have been there.
